Fish and Fringes

In order to prevent my installations with fish from resembling commercial food photography, I had to place the fish in environments where they are not normally found. For that reason I have let them “swim” in flowers and lace or silk fabric. In that way a contrast between the cold, slimy fish and the soft background is achieved.
